A bird guide to dream
I just got the newly released "The Crossley ID Guide. Eastern Birds" , birds of eastern North America, and his films have left me completely stunned. The author has succeeded with pictures so far only been able, with dissimilar results, with illustrations: nothing less than uniting in a single image many of the variations of postures and plumage of each species and fused with the above landscape characteristic habitats they frequent. The result has not been able to get 100% in all the plates, as is logical to try to cover as many species- goes beyond a mere identification sheets: the author offers almost every plate a work of art, a portrait of the soul "of wild birds in nature. A trip to the world that encourages us to lose his eyes traveling the inner landscape of each sheet, to dream memories of past observations and future meetings.
