Rahmaanir laah Bismil-Raheem, Lahi Rabbil Alhamdulil-Alamin, wa wa assalam wing assalatu Rasulilah (saw) In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate, all praise is for Allah The Lord of the Worlds, and peace and blessings of Allah be upon His Prophet Muhammad (saw)
Praise be to Allah
should be noted that Satan has a keen interest in cracking down on Muslims in one of two things: to presume their good works and make them in order to be admired and have good reputation, and not sincerely for the sake of God as it should be, and to refrain from doing good works at all.
The Muslim sincere in his intention to not pay attention to the whispers of Satan, who tries to influence their actions, or suggest that is not truly for the sake of God is doing. For the true heart is just as easy to do good works in secret than in public.
was asked Shaykh Ibn Baaz (may Allaah have mercy on him):
"A woman is asking:" I have to be so afraid I can not advise on the assumption that some people or tell them not to do certain things like talking on the backs of others, gossip, etc. I have fears you may be a way to brag about myself, and I have fear that people will think I'm bragging. Therefore, do not give any advice. I tell myself: "They are educated people, do not need any advice." What do you suggest? "
He said
" This is one of the traps of Satan, through which prevents people call others to God's way and prevents people from evil and order prohibiting good. One of the ways he does this is by thinking they are bragging. You should not pay attention to that, rather what you do is go ahead and advise your brothers and sisters in faith, if you see them in breach of his duties or committing prohibited acts, such as talking bad behind other, whispering, or hedge against men. Do not be afraid to show off, do it simple and just for the sake of God, sincere in your intentions and get the good news. Ignore the tricks and whispers of Satan. God knows what is in your heart, know your intentions and your sincerity towards Him, and your sincerity towards His servants. Undoubtedly assume is an act of idolatry (shirk) and is not permissible, but it is not permissible for a believer or a believer to refrain from that which God has committed, as people call Him or enjoining what is good and forbid what is wrong, for fear of showing off, so be careful with that. One must do what is required to be made between men and women, and both are equal in this regard. God has affirmed this in His Holy Book, which says (interpretation of the meaning):
"Believers and unbelievers are allies of one another, ordering the good and forbid evil, meet the prescribed prayer, pay Zakat and obey Allah and His Messenger. Allah will have mercy on them, and He is Allah, Mighty, Wise "(al-Tawbah 9:71)."
Fataawa Ibn Baaz, 6 / 403.
Husain was narrated that Ibn `Abd al-Rahmaan said:" I was with Sa'id ibn Jubayr and he said: "Who You saw the star that fell last night? "I said" I saw her. "And then added:" I was not praying, but had been bitten ....
Narrated by Muslim, 220.
Shaykh Ibn 'Uthaymeen said
"He said this (may Allaah have mercy on him) so that no one thought he had been praying at night, and praised him for something he had not done. This is different to what most people do when they feel happy that people think they were praying at night, but that is contrary to the absolute unity of God (Tawheed).
What Husain said falls under the assumed name, but comes under the heading of good works. Is not the same one who refrains from doing good deeds for fear of presumption, because Satan can play with a man and make the idea of \u200b\u200brefraining from doing good deeds for fear boast attractive to him. Rather, you should do good works, and try not to brag about them to people. "
Majmoo 'Fataawa al-Shaykh Ibn' Uthaymeen, 9 / 85, 86.
Y Allah knows best.
