Al-Jauziyah
1-Types of diseases.
There are two types of diseases that afflict the heart: one is the error and doubt, the other the desire and lust. Both are mentioned in the Koran.
Allah (swt) says about the disease of doubt "in their hearts is a disease (of doubt and hypocrisy) and Allah increases their disease." (2:10)
"And those in whose hearts is a disease (of doubt and hypocrisy) and unbelievers say what God intended for this example?" (74:31)
Allah (swt) says, alluding to those who refuse to use the Quran and the Sunnah as the basis for their business: "And when they are called to Allaah (His Words, the Qur'aan) and His Prophet (saw) to judge between them, you see them turn away and reject phone. But if truth is on their side (which is what they should) then they see which approach you and submitted meekly. Is there a disease in their hearts? Or do you have any doubt or fear that Allah and His Messenger will harm their own business? No! The truth is that they are dae the "Dhalimún (polytheists, hypocrites and wrongdoers). 24:48-50
This is the disease of doubt and error.
Allah (swt) says about desire and lust (the worst outcome is the greatest sin of adultery and fornication), "O wives of the Prophet! Ye are not like other women, keep your purity (by and for Allah ). So do not speak softly, lest those in whose hearts is a disease (of hypocrisy, or vil deseo de cometer adulterio)sean movidos con deseo..." 33:22
